Hygiene Packers was established. Until 1983, Angelo, Stephen, and Giuseppe grew potatoes on their farm in south-eastern Victoria, where they specialised in peeling and packing produce for local restaurants and hospitals.
Hygiene Packers' transport journey began with the purchase of our first truck, also known as The Volvo' A pivotal milestone that allowed us to efficiently transport fresh produce from our farm to our packing sheds
Our Ferntree Gully premises was purchased and established, serving as the origin of our current potato line. This marked the beginning of a successful company that would benefit future generations.
